A day after I arrived home in LA I headed to New York on a red Eye to help my Brother with Sales at the Trade Show for his business Bangkok Imports. I designed about 25% of the product line so I am very familiar with the products and I love Selling and I love NY. Any excuse to make a trip out to NY is ok with me. The only thing I hated about the trip was the weather because it was cold as shit.
The first day I arrived I ran around with my buddy Devin and took in the city sights on a double decker tour bus which was a first for me in NY. We went to China Town, Little Italy, and saw tons of other cool stuff.
The nest couple days I sold my ass off at the Show and hung out at night with friends from the show and I had a close friend come visit me from Boston too which was great. One of my brothers friends had a sick penthouse in Tribecca and we pre-partied a little bit at his pad one night and he had the cutest lil Dog I've ever seen named "Bear". I am not usually a big fan of small dogs but this little dude was awesome, not sure exactly what he was but he was full of life and spunky but not annoying. He would come over like a cat and just chillout with you and let you pet him. It really made me want one but it wouldn't be fair to it because I travel too much and wouldn't feel right leaving a dog with people while I run around the world traveling.
-Super Bowl Party-
Me, my Bro and a few others went to a cool Bar in Grenich Village for a Super Bowl party. It was all you can drink and eat for $50. We got trashed and watched the Giants beat the undefeated Pats in NY of all places. The streets were crazy afterwards and everyone was celebrating in the city. Good Times
-NY Knicks vs LA Clippers-
My buddy Devin bought us tickets to see the Knicks play my home town LA Clipps at the world famous "Madison Sq Garden". It was my first time at the Garden and was a blast. My brother had a ticket but couldn't go as it was the last day of the Trade Show and he had to start Breaking down. The seats weren't great but the game was because the Clipps won. It was a little weird and acqward cheering for the clipps by myself and I had a lot of angry NY fans mad dog me too. Both teams are kinda crappy this year but LA pulled it off.
All in all this NY trip was a lot of fun

Thailand Trip Jan 08
I recently took a trip over to Thailand to visit some family and friends. I arrived on like the 9thish and I must say January is the best time to visit Thailand because the weather is amazing. My Fathers birthday was in Late December and mine is January 12th so we celebrated ours together and xmas and New Years as well. I bought my Dad a ridiculously cool Espresso machine as he is a huge coffee fan.
My Roomie back home was in India visiting his family so he popped over and went with me to the Islands along with another friend. We headed over to Koh Samui and then straight to Koh Phangan for the Full Moon party which was on Jan 22nd. We stayed at "Tommy Resort" on "Hat Rin" beach which I frequent often when I visit the Island. The Full Moon Party was nuts as usual but there were a lot more people than I have ever seen there before, probably like 20,000 drunk fools ragging like crazy. Everybody at the Full Moon Party drinks small buckets full of whatever drink you like. Vendors line the beach and sell these buckets to the Party goers. But a little advice to the Full Moon Party rookie is to look at the bottles of booze you buy carefully and make sure they are sealed because they refill the premium Vodkas etc with crappier stuff. I bought my buckets from little convenience stores as they usually sell sealed bottles.
We had a great room very close to the beach and paid 2500 baht a night which is about $70. That's a lot to pay but we had 3 beds and arrived only 2 days before the party so we were pretty lucky they had a room at all. We met a lot of really cool people and had an absolute blast.
We all headed back to Bangkok and my trip soon ended:(
